Giannis propels Bucks by the Magic, take 2-1 series lead

The top seed Milwaukee Bucks have taken control of the series. The Bucks used a strong second quarter and never looked back, as they picked up the 121-107 victory over the Orlando Magic. The Bucks have now taken control of the series, taking a 2-1 series lead after falling to the Magic in Game One.

For the Bucks, they were lead by MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo as he scored 35 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Khris Middleton added 17, Brook Lopez had 16, and Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 14 points. For the Magic, guard DJ Augustin led the way with 24, as Nikola Vucevic and and Terrence Ross each had 20.

My Thoughts

Not surprised about the outcome. I knew when the Bucks lost Game One, it didn’t really mean anything, because they are playing against the Orlando Magic. It’s no offense to the Magic, but they just don’t really have that guy who is a “Super star” talent. The series is not over, but I expect Milwaukee to close out these next two games.

But I will say this, Bucks fans should be worried on the way they have been playing for the future rounds. They play too comfortably when they are up so much. The Magic were making a run cutting it to single digits in the 4th quarter, after trailing by 30 points. They can’t be doing that when they are playing a team like the Raptors, Celtics, or Heat, because they can turn things around in a hurry if the Bucks play too comfortable.

I expect the Bucks to win this series, but they have to play better when having a big lead.
