Another member of the Rockets organization could be out the door. Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook has reportedly told the Rockets organization that he wants out and has requested to be traded. The Houston Rockets were eliminated in the second round against the Los Angeles Lakers this past season. With Head Coach Mike D’Antoni and Daryl Morey leaving the organization, Westbrook and James Harden had concerns over the Rockets future.
With Westbrook not happy with his role, he wants out of Houston. Westbrook is looking for a place where he can return to his ball dominant guard role from when he was on Oklahoma City. The Clippers, Hornets, and Knicks are interested in Westbrook

Wow after one year, Westbrook wants to blow it up.
I don’t get it at all, the Rockets are wondering why they didn’t win, and maybe its because they didn’t have a starting center……..
I think this a stupid decision by Westbrook. The Rockets are literally just a center away from being contenders and Westbrook wants to leave after one year of being in Houston.
Westbrook is NEVER going to win a championship. Houston was his second chance to really contend for an NBA title and now he wants to leave the organization.
The Rockets need to find a team that will provide them good pieces in return for Westbrook and I will be curious to see where they go with this.
